My nec nwtl456 washing machine wont empty all water when spin complete anoying is it the pump or?

Can you hear the pump motor running when you first turn the program on, or during the spin cycle? a sort of glug glug noise when the drum is NOT turning. If you can, but the water is not draining, you have a blockage somewhere. If no glug glug then the pump is seized with a coin or pin etc and must be removed and freed or replaced.
Check any filters fitted first; remove and clean them. Lower the grey drain hose onto the floor - does water run out? if not, blockage maye be in sump hose or pump chamber (sock, etc)
If it does run out, blockage will be in connection to sink / waste pipe on your domestic plumbing.

I have a Whirlpool Washing Machine, Ultimate Care II . The machine fills with water but, when it gets to the spin cycle it stops. Water will not pump out. Tried moving the dial to spin cycle, nothing

it would seem that you have something blocking the water from being pumped out try blowing down the water outlet pipe to see if you can, its hard but should be possible if not then you have a blockage in the pump like a button or other debris out of your trouser pockets you will need to get to the pump to try and take the pipe off the pump to try and clear it or the pump is burnt out that means replace it you will find a replacement on the manufactures site good luck in your quest eric

Washer pump makes a clicking sound and is not pumping water fast enough before spin cycle, witch spills the water that was not pumped out. could the pump hve somthing blocking it ,or is the pump strti

Hi, there is most likely a blockage. Common is the coin blockage, locate the drain pipe and disconnect from area nearest to pump, usually has clamp fastening on either side of pump, disconnect both sides and check for foreign objects. Important*** disconnect machine from main current supply before working to avoid a shocking experience***. Hope this helps.

OOPS! I posted this as a solution by mistake. Sorry people. I have a Kenmore Model 110. 22632100. We were washing clothes and after agitation the washer did not drain or spin. I took all the clothes and...

Check the pump for blockages. First unplug and drain the machine by hand as much as possible. You will have to tilt the machine to access the bottom of it. The pump will have an incoming water pipe from the drum, and an outgoing pipe to the drain. These pipes are usually fixed with spring clips which you press to release (may need a plier here). Remove the pipe that comes to the pump from the drum.Check for items blocking the pump via the opening for the pipe. You will probably find a sock or some other item blocking the pipe. Remove and re-fit the pipe and spring clip. It should work now.

Water not spinning out. clothes still wet when finished spinning.

check that you have water going down the machine drain pipe when the machine would normally be draining, if not could be a faulty water pump or a water pump blockage the machine is spinning whilst still full of water I am suprised you can open the door after the wash has completed

Washer won't drain.

My washer fills up with water and goes thru the wash cycle but when it's time to drain, it just sits there and clicks.

Does not drain for spin cycle

HI, check the following to address this issue.

1. Clogged drain line or water pump
Check to see if there's something stuck inside the pump or the drain hose connected to the pump (pump is usually located at the bottom and towards the back of the washing machine).

2. Water Pump
If the drain line isn't clogged, you may have a problem with the water pump such as a frozen pulley or a broken impeller. If that's the case replace the water pump. Note: if you have a belt driven washer, check the belt(s) for cracks, as this would be a perfect time to replace the belt(s) if needed.

**The most common issue will be an obstructed hose or, line, but this may be a control fault as well. If the hoses and pump check out ok, replace the control board or timer.

Water will not empty

Hello
you either have a blockage in the filter or you pump is not working.
how to check is diconnect the waste pipe and lower it to ground level if the water does not empty then its a blockage. if it empties then its the pump.
other things it can be is a blockage where the waste pipe is connected or a loose wire to the pump..

Water in filter ,pipe doesnt seemed blocked couldnt find anything undid it all

DEFINATELY A BLOCKAGE OR RESTRICTION ON THE DRAINAGE SIDE.DISCONNECT THE PIPING COMMING FROM THE DRUM TO THE DRAIN MOTOR. MAKE SURE ALL IS CLEAR. REMOVE PUMP AND OPEN PUMP HOUSING TO INSPECT.(BLADE COULD BE LOOSE ETC). FINALLY RUN WATER INTO DRAIN PIPE AND EXPELL WATER BY BLOWING HARD.IF BLOCKED, RECTIY. REASSEMBLE AND TRY AGAIN.
