Yes, it is possible. If that is the case, you will have to have it services by a Zodiac licensed repair person. There are a few things that you can try first, though. You might need to install a ladder guard. This is a common addition to these pool cleaners. If could also be an issue with your hose weights not being spaced correctly or your water pressure not being strong enough (use Star Control to check). If you can't fix it with one of these solutions, contact the technical service line at 1-888-786-7797.

My bottom cleaner keeps getting stuck in a particular corner, how do I correct this?

since this cleaner works on the principal that if run long enough it will clean the entire pool area, there is no real way to control its movements. try removing one length of the hose. this will change the pattern of the cleaner. you can also change the flow rate of the water and if you are using a weight, change its position. try only one fix at a time so you know which is working

if not, then it's a pump problem.
If yes, then possibly plugged with debris either in the booster pump impeller or at the finger screen?

The bottom part comes loose after 3-4 hours of use, I have to screw it back on but it vibrates loose again what is the problem

I put several layers of Teflon tape on the threads in hope this will solve this problem. My barracuda G4 is several years old and just started doing this in 65 degree pool water. The cold could be causing some shrinkage So far it has helped.

If the cleaner is getting stuck on objects (steps, ladder, corners, benches, etc), you need to remove the dive float restrictor and install a wall climb adjuster. It is part number K12065. Anyone that sells Pentair products should have one. This will keep your pool cleaner from becoming stuck. It might also help with the seal problem, but that is most likely something caught in the flapper. Check to be sure that the pool cleaners getting proper flow and that the flapper is clear of debris.

We found out tpday that we have 19 leaks in our inground pool liner which is not quite 2 years old!! The only thing we've changes this year is we purchased a Barracuda Robotic pool cleaner. Have you ever...

It will have a strong suction to the pool floor and could grind bits of sand into the liner. You might want to try a Arneson Pool Vac.
Be sure they put cork feet on it though so it goes easy on the liner.
If and when you replace the liner be sure to put an under-liner down first. This will help with problems that run along these lines.

Stuck barracuda

It is probably not a problem with the shoes. These pool cleaners (and automatic pool cleaners in general) often get stuck on the main drain since the implementation on the new anti-entrapment drains. There is a ring that you can buy that goes on the drain. It is designed specifically for preventing pool cleaners from getting caught on the main drain.

Barracuda not moving

You could have too much suction, something stuck in the diaprahm, a torn diaprahm could do this or if it is sticking to the drain you will have to shut the drain down.

Stuck in corner

Try adjusting your returns to change the currents in the pool and see if that helps.

Baracuda pool cleaner does not cover the entire pool

With these pool cleaners, there are several things that it could be. Check the return line water flow and redirect as necessary with an eyeball diverter. Make sure the automatic regulator valve is installed properly and is not clogged. Make sure the cleaner has proper hose balance.
