I have traxxas slash 2 wheel drive with a traxxas XL5 ESC EZ SET Receiver.wich transmitter would be compatible with this receiver?

Personally I would just go on Ebay and buy a transmitter and receiver setup. Will likely be as cheap as trying to buy one part plus if your current setup is the older crystal type you can upgrade to a 2.4ghz setup and then you have no worries about interference and the antennae are much shorter or internal.

I would say the battery has gone bye-bye. Some laptops won't even boot without a good battery.

2) Adjust the reed switch by 1/8"

3) tight the connector from display board vs lower board (main motor board(

The first thing to check is whether or not your speed controller is in Lipo mode or NiMH. If you are using NiMH, and the ESC is set for Lipo, it will not work properly. If the ESC is in NiMH mode, then try reprogramming the speed controller, as this has been my problem a couple of times. Good luck, and have fun. Hope this helps.
