Question about Zanussi ZWF1430W Front Load Washer
Why should it take 2.1/4 hours on "normal" wash and 1.3/4 hours on "half wash" - it seems very excessive.
The previous solution posted is correct, but the answer is use a good powder/liquid and try washing at 30 degrees. Modern detergents work well at lower temperatures. You will be surprised how much faster it works. This problem occurs with modern machines that only have a cold water feed and no hot water feed, so everytime it empties and refills it has to wait on the water heating again.

Because theres more water it takes a lot longer to heat.
