Question about Televison & Video

Open Question

I have a infocus n24+ w240 projector. I was watching tv when it dimmed and went out. I thought the bulb went so i had a old one that still worked. But it wont recognize it. So i researched online and saw the support page for Infocus on how to reset the lamp hours. But i cant see anything to do so and all the button reset combination's wont work. Can someone help me and give me a step by step or the right button combo to rest to factory setting or lamp hours. Thank you!

SOURCE: infocus lp70+ projector turns itself off automatically

replace the power supply. it has enough power to start the colorwheel, fans, and to charge the ballast for the light, but as soon as the dmd chip turns on, it's just enough to overbear the ps.

More than 5 years old. After replacing bulb you have to reset the lamp hours as follows. To reset the lamp timer, navigate to the Settings>Service menu and select "Reset Lamp Hours"

yes try to check the bulb if broken but when you replace the bulb be sure not to touch the glass surrounding because if accidentally touch the glass their will be a mark appearing on the screen.

InFocus LP 540 is extremely dim

Dim image is normally due to a defective lamp assembly. I'd recommend removing the lamp and inspect its condition. You'll notice a black corrosion build up around the filament of the bulb.

InFocus 4805 - right 1/3 is fine, middle 1/3 dim, left very dim.

the light tunnel is collapsing and needs replacement. the part itself is relatively inexpensive, but you have to be careful if you want to replace it yourself. it's under the colorwheel, which is delicate. when you remove the top, front, and rear panels, remove the colorwheel (which is between the lens and the lamp) and carefully set it aside. there are 2 screws holding the light tunnel bracket in place. remove them and the bracket. pull out the pieces of the tunnel (little rectangles of mirror) and replace with a new one. reverse the steps to put it back together. by the way, you can get the part from any infocus authorized service center (check the infocus website for the one closest to you). part # 306-0095-01
