Question about Whirlpool Cabrio WTW6600SBT Top Load Washer

2 Answers

The machine starts going thru the wash Cycle and then it goes past the rinse cycle and then it shows OL after the spin cycle.. It even does this when you have no cloths in it. I went to rinse and spin cycle and it will work for awhile and then goes to OL warning.

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. oL flashes when the machine/motor control detects a load size that exceeds the washer’s capacity. Open the door lids to clear display, remove excess laundry, then restart the cycle. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

I have the same problem. It does not clear when you remove excess laundry. It does this even when the washer is empty. It completely skips the rinse cycle and then goes to OL. I just paid 85 dollars to a repair company who said the pump was clogged but he did not fix the problem. It is still doing the same thing!! Please help!

My washing machine top loader once reaches the spin cycle, with 21minutes time remaining, it goes back to rinse and repeats the cycle. What is the problem of my washer and how do I fix it? Thanks

If the washing is not distributed evenly by the time it reaches the rinse/spin cycle, it goes back to rinse cycle. Be present at the machine when it reaches the spin cycle. observe the drum to see if it is of balance and swaying to the sides, if so distribute washing evenly. Usually happens if there is a big garment or more with smaller items,

Rinse water fills the washing machine when the spin cycle starts

Check your outlet filter, most likely it is blocked, preventing the water from draining out. Chk your pump too. Before this disconnect from the wall socket; and also check the pipe coming from the tub to the filter. Siphon out the excess water from inside the machine before you open the pipes.
