Question about Onkyo TX-SR875 Receiver
This morning I turned on the system and a very loud buzzing sound came from the speakers. I was so loud it made me jump right out my seat and my speakers might have been damaged. I turned the volume all the way down and turned it up one notch and the loud buzzing sound came back. This happens with any input I set it to. Anyone know how to fix this?
This may be a power supply failure, and or a short in the output stage, and in the drivers for the output stage.
This is not a repair you can do at home unless you have a lot of experience in troubshooting and analysing problems in power amplifier equipment.
