We cannot get the tv to change channels. We have tried to reprogram it ,no luck.

If you moved to another transmitter, the channels will have changed. Re-detect the channels.

Reprogram the channels on the tv. Try channel scan.

In order to reprogram this Motorola GP339 you need to have a programming software, radio interface box and programming cable for this radio then you can read and change frequency in it. To reprogram to UHF channels this radio must be in UHF band. Good luck!

make sure your input is antenna/tuner you might be looking at the input of another soure, such as your dvd/vcr thats why when you use the tv remote to go and change the channel it doesn't seem to change.

Perhaps channel 4 is the only channel programmed? Try reprogramming your channels. Perhaps a universal remote would give you direct access to the channels. Your channel up or down won't work with only 1 channel programmed.

If cable is hooked through cable box with a coaxial cable, then turn tv to ch 3 or ch 4 as appropriate.

If cable is hooked through any other type of cord (red/green/blue or red/white/yellow) use the AV+ or Source button to change your source to Av1, AV2, HDMI, or however you have the cable box hooked to TV (I am assuming your TV is a Philips).

Can you use the remote control to change the channels? If not, it may be that to need to reprogram the remote to work with your TV. I just had the same problem. I have GE universal remote and have reprogrammed it to work with my SHARP 27k-s100 TV by following these instructions: http://www.ehow.com/how_9190_program-ge-universal.html The code that worked for my TV is 173. Sounds like an eeprom problem or a microprocessor problem??? Also make sure the tv didnt lose its channel memory by reprogramming the channels feature in the menu. Good Luck
