You shouldn't have posted this in the microwave oven section - the 33790 is a faucet!
Facing the faucet, on the right (where the lever is) the en-cap is bayonet mounted - twist and pull.
To remove the cartridge, there is a key that needs to be pullet out from the cavity , the lever unhooked and the cartridge pulls out. The replacement o-rings and special oval seals are available from Guillen in Florida.

If your waveguide cover is burned, it will need to be replaced.

It provides critical protection for the magnetron.

You didn't mention your brand or model number, but since you posted under Oster, I'll assume that's it.

You can contact Oster via the information in your owner's manual or get their contact information from the dealer where you purchased the oven.

I obtained a Grohe replacement faucet head (kitchen) - part number 46298IE). The box contains (besides the faucet head) two small round cylinders (white); one has a green end; the other is white with a...

Thanks for the info about the lifetime warranty, who knew? The two parts mentioned are flow control valves that get inserted at the base of the sprayhead, not the in the hose. The green one says "water care" which will restrict flow more than the white one. It's an either or scenario, not both. There is a VERY faint arrow that points up toward the top of the nozzle. Push it all the way up and reconnect the hose tightly. That's it. My replacement didn't come with a wrench, did that come with the original faucet?

One more thing, if you bought a house that has this and don't qualify for the lifetime warranty, don't get stuck paying $100-$150 for this part if you just need to replace the aerator. The gray head that the water comes out twists out with a wrench revealing the aerator. The part number is 13929 or sometimes referred as 1392900, $10-15, if you can find it.

I have a GE HVM1750SM1SS and was defrosting some bread without seeing that there was a metal twist tie on the wrapper. In only a few seconds the plastic on the top started to melt and drip in the oven....

It sounds like you may be talking about the stirrer cover.

For some models, the owner's manual covers how to remove it. You can download GE owner's manuals and installation instructions here.

Otherwise, you can find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number here.

You need display repair ($39.95) and a waveguide cover (assuming your model is DMT2420-something, the cover's part number is 66345, which you can order from the Pros here.

Assuming that model is MV-1310B, that would be your stirrer fan cover, part number 3301W2A017A, which you can get from Encompass here or by calling toll-free at 866-779-5835.

Plastic melted inside oven, dripping from ceiling Kenmore 721

The round peice in top of unit is a cover for the stirrer wich moves waves around for even cooking. The reason for it melting is almost certainly there is not enough paint in cavity and waves are shorting out to metal.CALL the manufacturer and depending on age of unit they may replace it free

4175sp microwave has no power to turntable

I assume this is Whirlpool model GH4175sp?

This answer also assumes that yours does not allow for keypad control of the turntable.

You can see and hear a video of how a turntable motor should sound when you rotate it by hand.

If yours won't rotate or it sounds like it's grinding, etc., you may have a bad motor or plastic coupler.

To replace either, you need to unplug power, then remove the bottom cover of the oven. You may have to cut the cover off with snips, then use a screw when reassembling it.

You can usually find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number here.

There should also be a "mini-manual" hidden inside the unit behind the control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is very helpful when troubleshooting & testing.

Microwave inside light does not come on

Assuming everything else is working, then I would assume the bulb is out.

If there's no obvious removable cover over the bulb (and the owner's manual doesn't address it) some disassembly may be required.

Always unplug a microwave before removing or installing any bulbs.

If it's an over the range type, remove the vent grille across the top and see if bulbs can be accessed there. There may be a panel on the bottom covering the light(s), instead.

If not, chances are you'll have to remove it from the wall, then remove the outer cover. If so, the installation instructions are very handy, and it's best to have two people since the microwave can be heavy and awkward.

If you don't have your instructions, please reply back with your brand and model number.

Once it's out of the wall, the outer cover (wrapper) will need to be removed, just as you'll need to do on a counter top model.

The screws you need to remove should be pretty obvious, and a special driver (such as a T20H Torx type or GTXH20-100) may be needed.

Be sure to put all the screws back in the right holes, since some may be special grounding screws.

Bulbs can be had in most grocery stores, hardware stores, home improvement centers, and big box or department stores.

Many models use halogen lamps. You must not touch the new one with your bare skin, as the oils will shorten the bulb life.
