Having had the internal glass break twice after cleaning, we decided to dismantle the door and take the glass out this time. All went well, door was reassembled and put back on. Whilst the oven works fine the microwave will not work and displays an E10 message. How do I fix this?

Hi, I have pasted the instructions for your Smeg oven you below:
9.4 Removing the internal glass panels
The glass in the door should always be kept thoroughly clean. To facilitate
cleaning, it is possible to remove the door (see 9.2 Removing the door) and
place it on a canvas, or open it and lock the hinges in order to extract the glass
The glass panels of the door can be completely removed by following the
instructions provided below.
Warning: before removing the glass panels, make sure that at least one of the
door's hinges has been locked in the open position as described in "9.2
Removing the door". This operation may have to be repeated during the glass
removal process if the door is accidentally freed.
Removing the internal glass panel:
• Remove the internal glass panel by
pulling it upwards, following the
movement indicated by the arrows. Doing
this detaches the 4 pins attached to the
glass from their slots in the oven door.
Removing the intermediate glass panels
(on some models only):
• Some multifunction models have an
intermediate glass panel. Remove the
intermediate panel by lifting it upwards.
• It is now possible to clean the external
glass panel and the panels removed
previously. Use absorbent kitchen roll. In
the case of stubborn dirt, wash with a
damp sponge and neutral detergent.
Replacing the glass panels:
• Replace the panels in the reverse of the
order in which they were removed.
• Reposition the internal glass panel, taking
care to centre and insert the 4 pins
attached to the glass into their slots in the
oven door by applying slight pressure.

Your manual should show you how to remove the door from the oven and also how to separate the glass panels to assist cleaning. If you do not have your manual, use the link to download a PDF copy of it. You will need the ENr from the rating plate https://portal.bsh-partner.com/portal(bD1kZSZjPTAwOQ==)/PORTALFRAME.HTM
The glass is replaceable. You need to get the exact glass replacement kit from the manufacturer. I had to have mine replaced about a year ago due to condensation between the 2 glass panels and was able to get the replacement for $0.00.
Suggest to Siemens that the glass on yours should not have shattered and therefore was probably defective and you may luck out and get the glass for free. It's worth a try.
that is your heat safety glass if the outer pane is still there, you will need to dismantle the oven door and reseat it in its frame in the oven door, the screws are on top of door and on inside when door is down,im sure you'll find it..and dont run self clean w/o safety glass in place, outer glass wont take the extreme heat of self clean feature
Open the door to the first notch. Lift it straight up off the hinges. Next, you'll have to dismantle the door. Remove all the screws around it and the glass will be held in by another frame. Unscrew the frame, clean the window and reverse for reassembly.
To dismantle the kitchenaid pro line oven door: there is a lever over the hinges that attach a door to the oven. The lever is right on top of the hinge. Pull the lever up. When that lever is in the up position, you can pull the door out.
it can be fixed by removing the door. Open the door and try to lift upwards. When the door has come out, dismantle it by removing the screws and when you can reach the glass frame, measure the size of the glass reqd. The glass can be bought from any glass dealer by giving the correct size. Make sure if the glass has to be tapered at the corners. When it is received, you can reassemble it yourself
