Open Question

My Hp tx2-1035ee system was working properly until I decided to do a default factory restore using F11, the restore seems to be fine until when it restarted. the screen continues to flicker when the Power cord is pluged in, it stops if the power cord is removed please what should I do? I don't want to cause any further complication by using the laptop in that flicker situation. please help me.

SOURCE: hp laptop keeps restarting

If the laptop is not popping up any windows before it shuts down it could be the built in heat protection, you can see if your fan has a lot of dust by turning off the laptop off and then blowing into the area where it pulls in air. If it is popping up a window before it shuts down disconnect it from the internet and see if it does the same thing, if it stays on while discod from the internet then run your antivirus if possibl.

SOURCE: hp laptop 9720us screen wont brighten or dim. last

You got the wrong inverter fitted - i'm sure your unit requires a sinle lamp inverter and they have cheated - putting in a generic lamp inverter and branching togeather the wires to accomodate the single plug thus reducing the available volatage for the lamps - this is why it's dim - correct part is 431391-001 Display panel power inverter - For use with single lamp display panel

SOURCE: HP Pavillion dv2500 laptop will not boot up.

Pressing the f8 key doesn't work either? This should boot the laptop to safe mode, if it doesn't then check the memory cards before you do anything else, try to get somebody with the same type of memory card to lend it to you. If that doesn't work, then your HDD is corrupted, and to re-install Windows.

You are right there is no factory restore. You must reload the entire operating system from a recovery disc, if you don't have one you can likely buy one from HP

Want to restore pc to factory settings

If it is a HP desktop,.
Press the F11 key on your keyboard as soon as your turn on your desktop
Continue pressing F11 every 2 seconds until you see the HP Recovery Manager window.
Then select Full Recovery on the menu.
Just follow the prompts and your unit will be restored back to factory default.

If this is a newer desktop this should work.

If it's an older PC, you may need the recovery cd's. Which can be ordered from HP.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe
