Question about Whirlpool Duet GHW9150P Front Load Washer
HI. This code is essentially a dispenser malfunction code. The F-30 will be issued when the dispenser motor cannot be driven to its correct position. The correct actions are to unplug the unit and check the mechanical linkage from dispenser motor to the top of the dispenser. If all looks ok there, move on to the connecting harness that links both the dispenser assembly and main control unit(CCU). Inspect the connections for loose fit or separated contacts. If all of the check points look ok at this point, then the actual motor will be the culprit. You will need to test it to confirm. Once you have confirmed failure, replace the motor.
To help you with the inspection and component accessing, I have included the necessary repair manual to assist. Click Her to access the manual. This manual is very large and it will take up to 10 minutes, possibly, to down load completely. Page 4-10 will guide you through the dispenser accessing procedures.
