Question about Toshiba Satellite A75-S1253 Notebook
I hate to tell you this but this is a very very common problem and not just for Toshiba laptops. There are two general causes.
1. The battery just cant hold a charge anymore.
2. The charging circuit on the system board is bad
You hope and pray its the first one because if it is the second one the laptop has to be sent in to get it repaired. Just hope it is still under warranty.

Hi there is one thing that works sometimes and that is discharge the battery as best you can the put it into the freezer. The logic behind this is that modern batteries for laptops use a gel that holds a charge but if you freeze it it re-aligns the crystals within it and then after 24 hr in the freezer take it out defrost and then try recharging. Hope it work for you its the same for phone batteries as well.
