Universal Remote for this TV?

Hi,
The power button the original remote for this TV has stopped working. I'm looking for a universal remote that can at least control the TV portion of this TV/VCR combo. Has anyone had any success with any Universal Remotes?
The last one I tried was Sony RM-V310 which didn't work.
I'm looking at the RCA RCR311ST next but I'd rather not have to do this guess and check method.

I ended up getting this GE Universal Remote 24991 with date code 1802 and it works great! Only $7.99 from Target.

GuruI usually recommend a GE universal remote... They are known to work for even the most stubborn televisions. I have no problem making sure you have the right code for your TV
