Question about Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ7 Digital Camera
My camera is acting weird. First when I tried to turn it on the lens would only go out a little. I turned the camera on and off again multiple times, and all the lens would do was go in and out (a little). I dropped my camera and now all it'll do when I turn it on is say WARNING! MODE DIAL IS NOT IN THE PROPER POSITION! when it IS in the proper position. I'm looking at it right now, the mode dial is set fine. I don't know whats going on, and I need my camera. Can someone help me?
mode dial not in proper position
I had the same problem try this: tap the outside of the dial lightly while turning the camera on it should basically "pop" right out!!!!!!!!;)

Well the camera was dropped so i think it needs to go to a panasonic service technician. most likely the lens is damaged and the mode switch.
