Ya plug it up then turn it on. Go to start on task bar then to printers/scanners button and it will show up there. Right click on it and click properties. Then update driver. Let it automatic search online for it. If you cant find it there go to control panel/system/find the usb or printer connection right click and properties updte driver\
however, this driver will only work with windows xp 64bit and windows vista 64bit systems. I cannot guarantee this driver will work for you because I don't know what operating system you're using.
