Call Philips support or contact them on the net. You should be able to order spare parts from them.

I just bought an Archos 404 on Ebay and the headphone jack is not working properly! The sound only comes out of one side. I can get it to play out of both ears but its takes alot of jiggling and pulling it...

Well it is really hard to find the part other than seeing if you can find another one on ebay for parts. That is what I would do and pull the headphone jack out if that one and use it. But no one has that part only Company that manufacturs it

How to connect philips shd8900 HiFi wireless headphones to an 5.1 amplifier

Look at the manual.

http://download.p4c.philips.com/files/s/shd8900_10/shd8900_10_dfu_eng.pdf

It only accepts stereo input. Your unnamed 5.1 system will determine what it has for headphone or Line Level stereo outputs.

Where do I plug my headphones into a Sony DAV-FX900KW home theatre system? I'm playing X-Box 360 (on TV/VCR1) but can't get any sound off my Philips wireless headphones. Appreciate any help

There is a headphone jack on the Sony's front panel, on the right near the bottom edge. Connect the sender part of your wireless headphones to that jack. You may need some form of adapter depending on the sender's input connectors. If the wireless headphone system is working properly, this will give you sound.

I got a skullcandy TI 1 year ago, and since two days the sound comes out normally, or without the left side, depending on the position of the wire connecting the MP3 to the skullcandy. It's very sensitive,...

What typically happens is that the base of the wire gets stressed from wrapping the cord around your media player and it eventually breaks the copper wire inside of the insulation. You likely can not even see the damage, let alone repair it. Be more careful with the next set, and might I recommend a set of AKG ear buds. I use AKG studio headphones and bought my little sister some AKG ear buds, very impressive quality very close to my studio headphones. AKG K 313

Headphones only have left channel on Denon AVR-588 Receiver

Hi peroty,

Two suggestions for you.

1. If you look at the headphone jack connecton do you see one or two black O-rings or black lines on the jack. If you only see one they are Mono headphones and you would only get sound out of the left side. If there are two black lines they are stereo headphones and you should get sound on both the left & right sides.

2. If after checking the headphone jack connection and there are two black lines on it then I would suggest try a different pair of headphones to see if a different set of headphones works fine.

If a different pair of headphones works properly the original headphones may be bad. If neither set of headphones work properly it may be the reciever that may need to be repaired.

I hope it's not the receiver, but let me know if you have questions.
