Question about SanDisk Sansa e260 MP3 Player
When i start my e280 it says that the main image has failed to open and 2 switch 2 recovery mode, i hav done that and open the file from the sansa website http://www.sandisk.com/Assets/File/Downloads/firmware/e200fw01.00.12.exe

then when i open the file and go 2 the page where it reads the version and 2 continue with the upgrade it says that it cant read the version details
Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
