Question about Kodak EasyShare M853 Digital Camera
Ok so I got my camera before Christmas and it came with a battery which is a Kodak Rechargeable Li-Ion KLIC-7001 840mAh, Mins. 770mAh. The battery was low the last time I used it so when I got it home I charged it on my PC like always but it wouldn’t power on. When its plugged in and I press the button the light blinks but goes right off. I need to know if all it is, is that I need a new battery. That’s what it sounds like right? I really don’t want to have to replace the camera, it has a huge sentimental value. So today I went to Best Buy and bought a new battery. My camera turned on but the battery was low so when I got home I put on my PC to charge it. Now its doing the same thing again =[ PLEASE HELP!!
I would make sure I purchased the correct battery, and if you did I would make sure the battery terminals in the camera are clean by cleaning them with a soft cotton swab. If none of this works I would try charging the camera using the ac adapter rather that plugging it into the computer.
