turn on camera and says card not initalized what can i do to get it working

when i turn on camera (card not initialised) appears on screen. went through formatting procedure in menu but get (write error) when i take picture then goes back to card not initialised.

Apprenticeu need to upgrade your firmware for A330 as it is not compatible with cards over 512mb. go to fujifilm- accesseries-storage media-xd picture in left hand corner-xd type M. click on link under notice on compatibility. you will find your firmware upgrade here just follow instructions. worked for me
