Question about HP LaserJet 1020 Printer
When i power up my printer there is a loud clicking sound and the printer dosnt work , i remove the tones and again the same problem . any solution anyone ?
I had this same problem.
The loud clicking is grinding gears because the paper feeder is stuck and can not rotate.
I looked and found a small plastic piece has obstructed the right side guide of the roller. I tried to move the black plastic piece preventing the rod from rotating... and broke it off. The printer works perfectly now, I have no idea what the little black piece of plastic was used for that fell into the wrong place.
Either way, you don't need it... just break it off, but make sure its the one I'm talking about.
