Question about Computers & Internet
Usually these flash drives create two partitions into the drive
itself. The software does not create
another drive letter for the other partition but instead it remains in the
flash drive itself.
When you plug the drive into your computer, you can see the Imation drive and in order for you to access the secure partition you have to open the device and then the software. If you do not want to use the software, you can just delete it by either formatting the drive or erasing the software icon as if you were deleting a regular file.
Before removing the application remember to re-size the partitions and assign all the space to the public using that secure software. Otherwise, once the software is deleted you will only see the space for the public portion but you will loose the rest of the space that was assigned for the secure.
