Question about Canon imageCLASS D320 Digital Copier
If you are only getting light prints, there could be many reasons for the same. Unfortunately, as i cannot see the machine, i could only suggest few details that i have seen on these copiers.
As it is 6 years old, more likely the fault is with drum unit. You could try cleaning the charge roller with water .Do not touch the drum. ( best to first remove the drum from the unit ).
Try adjusting the image exposure up as far as it will go. Exposure calibration can also be altered in the 'Additional Functions' menu, under 'Settings & Adjustments'. Settings can be reset to the center if no improvement is made. It's hard to exactly diagnose but worth following the above option and maintenance schedule given by Canon.
Let me know,if needed further assistance.
Hope i helped you.
Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!
