I recently modified my dream machine the original pulsar150,by adding alloys and wide tyres both front and rear,so obviously the pick up will decrease,so i want to know that will there be any load on the...
It seems to me that the wide tires, if properly inflated, would not adversely or significantly cause an increased load to the engine, unless they were underinflated. I would just look for clearance issues on the fork and other parts of the frame and mud guards.
In the 1980s, when all terrain bicycles were introduced with 'fat' tires, increased traction on roads compared to their skinny tire race bike counterparts was enjoyed by the masses (Mountain bikes vs. racing bikes).
I think that on a motorcycles, the same would apply.
I don't think the K&N filter would significantly increase pickup, despite advertising to the opposite. Just use standard air filters.
Good luck on modifying your bike to your 'dream machine.'
