the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Hello here is the asus homepage:

http://support.asus.com/Download.aspx?SLanguage=en&m=P5PE-VM&p=1&s=22

Please select your windows system.
Open the manual folder, and click on global for download.
Adobe reader is needed, to read the content.

Time and date must be setup in the bios settings.
Press the delete button, to access the bios when the pc is rebooting.

The manual should show you how to make changes in the bios.
The time can be changed by right click on the clock, in windows system.
When you have set the time, click apply and ok.

Good luck

Reason for showing "check main

your bios has been damaged the bios chip on your motherboard could be damaged to check it

restart your compuetr during the boot up process you will see a certain key to press to enter set up (bios) press and hold that key to enter bios using the arrow keys scroll to load optimised defaults

You will also need to reset the time and date.

In the main or system setup screen you should be able to see the date and time Using your arrow keys navigate to the date and change the date.

Once highlighted on the month, day, or year, press your arrow keys or your page up / page down keys to change the date.
Save, Exit and re-boot and everything should then work.

hope this helps you

System Date Problem in EEE PC 1005HA

As if you have tried changing the date & time in your control panel plus BIOS.There is nothing left to be done regarding changing date & time.
But If your CMOS battery in the motherboard fails,it will always goes back to it deafult date & time.Replace the battery and it will solve your problem.

I recommend to use Sony Lithium Battery

Lenovo thinkpad R51e ,when i power on the laptop it show error271

This error message is generated when the BIOS Date and Time is incorrect. Go into the BIOS configuration to change the Date and Time. When you reboot and still get the same error message then the BIOS battery is flat and needs to be replaced and the Date and Time setting needs to be change to the current Date and Time after replacing the battery.
If you cannot get into the BIOS configuration (press F1 on bootup) or you get a lock icon in the top LH corner of the screen, this is a Power on Password symbol, enter the passsword to bootup the laptop and then press F1 to get into the BIOS configuration.

System date and time does not change on my laptop

What do you mean it "does not change"? Have you tried to change them using the Control Panel applet, or by clicking on the time in the taskbar and trying to change it there? Or, do you mean the date and time is not incrementing at all while watching the time?

My computer went back to older clock date as 1610

try starting your computer in safe mode and see if you can do anything productive there, like scanning for viruses or spyware. also check if you can do the following:
CTRL+ALT+DEL (open task manager)
goto Start>Run>Regedit (open registry editor)
goto Start>Control Panel>Display>Properties (change display settings)
right click on clock at tray and change the current time to correct settings

if you cannot do any of these activities, then your computer may probably been compromised by a virus or malware.
