My Notebook PC does not produce any sound, It pops-up No mixer devices

most probably u dont have the right driver installed.check on compaq or hp site about ur pc driver and it should start working.

HI.When the stand mixer produces a popping sound during mixing this problem has something to do with the motor.Motor has bossing on it.This might not be lubricated well and eventually lossen up.That's why it produces a popping sound.And with regard to the burnt smell might be on the coil of the motor's rotor or armature.Is the unit still functioning eventhough you smeeell burnt wire?Thank you for choosing FIXYA..

check the power outlet socket to which the amp and mixer is connected. if there is any loose contact in that power socket, this problem can occur. try to use a good surge protector with emi filter for connecting the amp and mixer.

first make sure the audio hardware your using if external works properly hooked up to another source if so its your audio drivers or sound settings if not than its the speakers if the speakers are internal it may be a sound setting if your using a mixer make sure none of your line out or sound setting are muted if thats not the case going into your device manager and troubleshooting the sound drivers you have would be next if it still has no sound I would suggest re installing the software that came with them after uninstalling and restarting computer

Your Notebook might be missing Sound driver.

Download the driver and install it.Your sound should work fine.

For sound icon.

Go to "Control Panel"
Click "Sound and Audio devices"

Under "Device Volume"  tick " Place the Volume icon in the Taskbar."

Your Sound Mixer will automatically comes when you double click the Sound icon.

Compaq Presario C734TU Notebook PC i have the following system

uninstall the sound driver in the device manager and download the latest audio driver from the support site and install it.

if you are using vista then ...u have to go sound settings in control panel and change the default device to whatever you want...and click ok

This usually occurs because of corrupted drivers .. you should completely uninstall the sound card driver, reboot and let windows detect the card and if it's not plug n play ... install the driver manually, not automatically.

reinstall the sound driver, u will find it at the manufacturers website or google it.

or else upgrade your windows version
