Question about Boston Acoustics BA7500 Computer Speakers

What kind of cables do I get to connect my computer to the speakers.I have a HP PC desktop with XP professional.Please help I've cut my old speaker wires.

Just buy a soundcard that support 4.1 sound or better & you can use stereo cables or coax cables depending on what sources your soundcard support. I have and hp and they work fine with it & with XP

if you go to the bios (restart computer and press del to go to setup) you should be able to look around and find the option for internal speaker. Set that option to disable and do not change anything else unless you know your way around. Save it and restart afterwards and it should disable the internal speakers.

any computer speakers you are going to get from best buy or similar store will work with a desktop computer, it will plug into the green headphone jack on the back of the PC. the small PC speaker in the desktop can not be used for sound from in windows in most cases.

The speaker cable usually has a green plug on it.
You should find audio ports for at least audio out ( green ) and audio in or mic ( pink )
So plug it into the green audio in if you have 1

Speakers don't Work on HP Pavilion f1903 desktop


Just match the color of the male and female on each end. Plug the audio cable (mini stereo phone plugs) to the PC audio line out (green miniphone jack) to the Powered speaker mini stereo phone audio line input jack (green color jack). You will have to set the volume controls of the speaker control knob and at the PC on screen volume control panel.

Old speakers will not work with new Dell Inspiron 530


Speakers are pretty much universal. Plug them in, and connect the audio cable to the green receptacle on the computer.

No sound


If speakers are built into the monitor, then there should be an audio cable that connects from the monitor to the green speaker out jack on the back of the computer.

If speakers are NOT built into the monitor, then buy a set of speakers from a store.
