Question about Canon MV30i Mini DV Digital Camcorder
That means that either there is a mechanical problem with the camcorder rollers and mechanics in the cassette slot, or that the cassette is malfunctioning.
First ensure that you have tryed different tapes.
If it happens with all tapes, remove battery to reset the unit, check inside the slot to ensure that there is no foreign object or fragment of tapes.
If that does not fix the problem, then the camcorder must be fixed by a technician. In that case call Canon to get a quote on repair, or get a quote from a third party service here:Repair.
