I think you may have changed your bios (F2)settings inadvertantly-------you may have enabled an extra boot process which you dont necesserely need----go back to bios settings and switch of this boot process--reboot a couple of times to make sure it has changed of choose the "return to default settings"

EeePC 701 that no longer detects wireless access points

some eeepcs have an auto-down load facility that upgrades certain items(firefox for example) andother items ,i found once i had upgraded these items the wi-fi wouldnt enable as efficiently as before--i can't point you to specific code but if you re-install the OS(Linux Xandros) from base and switch off the updates,by going to "settings" then choose "installing/removing software" then choose "preferences" you can partially stop these auto-downloads and from a new base configuration install you might find your wi-fi works again.
press F9 whilst booting to get to the install OS screen ,you will have three choices whichever you choose (highlight) then press "E" then press "B" and this is how you re-install

Didnt install the camera i want to install it asus notebook

One of two solutions:

1) Enabling the EeePC Camera through the BIOS

Go into the BIOS Setup (press F2 when the screen lites up).
Right arrow key to Advanced
Down Arrow key to Onboard Devices Configuration
Enter
Arrow key down to Onboard Camera
Enter
Arrow key to Enable
Enter key
F10
Enter

2) You need to download the webcam driver from the Asus website.

No educational progams on pc

I have both Linux and Windows XP versions of the EeePCs. And the Linux version comes with some educational software. While the Windows XP version does not.

The vast majority of no webcam is because it is toggled off in the BIOS.

Enabling the EeePC Camera through the BIOS
Go into the BIOS Setup (press F2 when the screen lites up).
Right arrow key to Advanced
Down Arrow key to Onboard Devices Configuration
Enter
Arrow key down to Onboard Camera
Enter
Arrow key to Enable
Enter key
F10
Enter

Hopefully that takes care of it. :)

When you press F10 to enter the set up nothing happens, is that correct, and what does the beep sound like? Also, does it beep if you don't press anything, and after the initial screen with the F10 message, what does it do?
