Question about Panasonic Cameras
After 6 years of use, the on/off switch failure would not be unusual.
If camera is not starting at all ensure that is not a battery problem.
If camera had been exposed to a wet environment (eg.it happened on a rainy day). Try removing battery and leave the camera in a dry place for two days.
The problem can be repaired. To get it repaired ad to get a quote, contact Panasonic service number listed in the owner manual, or get a quote from a third party repair service here:Repair.
