Is the fan outside too noisy,if so there is no way to change the speed of this fan,the blower motor in the furnace can be adjusted, either by adjusting the centrifugal pulley on the motor shaft or electrically or installing a different squirrel cage fan on the furnace blower

3 ton heat pump with piston in air handler. After unit shuts down it makes loud fluid flow noise for about 2 minutes

adding a tvx will not help. the sound you here is the pressure equalizing and that has got to happen for the compressor to start again the next time. A tvx will give you a higher efficiency because it can adjust to changing temperature conditions. Only way i know to quiet the noise is to try to insulate the lines better.

The front air isn't blowing out as hard and the back a/c blowing out but blows out hot air! what's is the number one reason for this problem?

The number one reason for hot air out the back could be low freon or bad blend door to the rear, and not blowing hard out the front could be a block in the evaporator core. the core is like a small radiator that freon flows through and air is blown through it to make cold air sometimes if they leak it blocks the fins which slows down the air flow.

Just installed a 24000 BtU Art Cool deluxe type 1 unit in our room. It makes very disturbing "toctoc" noises all night apparently off the plastic case. The noises start when the condenser turns on and off...

it sounds like the noise you are describing may be coming from the vanes in the unit. if you adjust the vanes to a fixed position (from the remote) instead of a sweeping motion does the noise stop?

Remove the unit from the housing. Using a special cleaner, called coil cleaner which you can purchase at any AC shop clean the coils, this should eleminate the problem.

Air conditioning fan makes loud noise the faster you ru it.

Concerning your broken vent -- this can be caused by a broken linkage or a malfunctioning servo motor as well. these vent have air ducts the sway back and forth to adjust the dual air flow function. if the servo o linkages are malfunctioning or not connected for some reason, it will not allow total control of the air flow and temperature range. Now, if you have a combination of a flow error and temperature error as well, thai can be caused by a combination of the two.

In this case, you will need to inspect the linkages as well as the servo motor function as well. in addition, i would test the air temp sensors for there operational value. they control the temp when you adjust the coll or hot function.

Concerning the Loud noise coming from the blower fan---

This issue can be caused by a misalignment within the blower housing or, it can also be caused by some minor damage within the motor itself, causing it to rotate in a erratic manner, in return, forcing it to rub against the housing itself. the best solution here is to extract this blower fan housing and inspect for lose fan propeller and motor stability. replace parts accordingly.

PLease rate and have a great day:)
