Need to fix office 2007 from compatability

Windows 7 Office 2007 Minimum Requirements b> Microsoft Office 2007 isn't the latest version of the Office suite, but it is still useful for a variety of tasks. The software package includes programs for editing spreadsheets, working with documents, creating presentations and more. Office 2007 also includes a redesigned user interface that is more intuitive than previous versions. Chances are good your computer can run Office 2007 if you already have Windows 7 installed, but you should check the system requirements anyway to ensure a trouble-free installation.

Processor and Memory Your computer needs a 500MHz or faster processor plus at the very least 256MB RAM. You may need more memory if you wish to run multiple Office applications simultaneously. The Business Contact Manager in some versions of Office requires a 1GHz processor and 512MB RAM. Turning on the grammar checker in Word requires 1 GB of RAM. Hard Drive and Optical Drive b> Make sure you have at least 1.5GB of available space on your hard disk to install Office 2007 standard and 2GB for other versions. You also need a CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive for installation. Monitor b> Your display should have a 1024x768 resolution or higher. Older 800x600-resolution monitors are not compatible with Office 2007. 64-bit Compatibility and Windows Updates b> Note that you may run the 32-bit version of Office 2007 on 64-bit versions of Windows 7, but you cannot run Office 2007 64-bit on 32-bit editions of Windows 7. Make sure your copy of Windows 7 is up-to-date for best results. Microsoft releases fixes and other updates periodically that address stability issues and other known bugs. You can use Windows Update, on your "Start" menu, to check for updates.

I have the Office Professional 2007 disks (2) but have lost my ptoduct code

Go to any computer-store, and you can buy a credit-card-sized plastic card that has a license-key for Microsoft Office.

Or, if the software already is installed, search online for the free "PRODUKEY" software.
Downoad it. Unzip it. Run it, to display the 25-character product-code that was used when you installed Microsoft Office.

I have a laptop of ACER which has window 7. Microsoft Office 2007 is already install in this laptop. But i cant run because it demands product key. I already used trial product which had limit of 25 times....

Just because the software is pre installed, doesn't mean you have the full version.

I'd imagine you have a laptop with a trial version of the software installed. You may have been mis-sold this and assumed you have the full version.

You need to buy a product key. The cheapest fix is to uninstall your version of Microsoft Office Standard, and purchase a copy of Microsoft Office Home and Student for about £70.

You could always use OpenOffice which is free, and allows you to use Microsoft Office documents.

I need to install microsoft word but it is already in my comp but

You need to first uninstall the program (ms office)[if it's ms office 2003, as soon as you start installing the new ms-office 2007, it'll automatically upgrade to ms-office 2007].
I don't know whether you know how to uninstall programs or not, but let me give you the hints..
Click "Start" > "Control Panel" > "Programs" [add/remove programs on windows xp] now highlight the "Microsoft Office..." and click "Uninstall" button and follow the onscreen instructions. Restart your computer and again install the Microsoft Office 2007 using the set up file. If in case, you can't uninstall the program due to faulty/error/missing files, download this program ccleaner install it and run. Now click "Tools" and from the uninstall lists select/highlight the "microsoft office..." and cick "uninstall". If you still have the same problem, please let me know.

Good luck

Thanks for using FixYa.

you should completely un install the office suite before installing it again. If you can, I would greatly suggest, using the last good restore point before the main crash, this will put the registry back to original too.

Microdoft office product key

Download SoftKey Revealer from freewarefiles.com, and install it on one of the computers already running office. After install, run the program and it will give you the CD-Key for any Microsoft software currently installed. As long as you don't go over 3 installs, Microsoft should not have a problem with it.

Windows Vista and Office Pro 2003

hi, yes you can install office 2003 while you already have office 2007. you just need to change the installation directory when you launch the setup for office 2003. change it into something apart from what office 2007 already is installed in. so what you're trying to say is that you should be entitled to an upgrade to office 2007 if office 2003 doesn't work? i would maybe think so... but no solid answer for that one.
