Dell 1908 FTP Monitor turns on and shows picture but in just a few seconds then goes black

check all connections. then separate the wiring so it doesn't touch. sometimes the cross-talk caused by wires touching can reroute the signals. good luck.

Lcd monitor shutdown a few seconds after it is

If this is happening without it being plugged into anything; just the monitor itself; likely it's toast. Now, be aware that some monitors WILL shut themselves "off", or what looks like off, whenever there is not a signal. If you are using a computer, try a different computer and see if it works there.

If it is happening regardless, it's likely a P/S issue and not economically feasible to fix. With the price of nice LCD monitors nowadays, you'll be way better off shopping for one online.

I turn on my FLATRON L.1730 SF but after a few seconds it says POWER SAVING MODE and the monitor remains black.

Try selecting a different input from the monitor's menu, perhaps it is set for digital input while you feed it analog VGA signal, or vice versa.

Hey my monitor turns on but than turns black after a few seconds? What can be wrong with it?

Most monitors turn blank after a few seconds if they are not receiving a signal from the computer. Check the graphics cables and try another monitor if you have one. If neither works, then you have a graphics card problem.

Screen Goes Blank

Ive seen this on other monitors. Look for a 1 and 2. Some monitors do NOT auto detect a signal, and this one might not. Look for a way to set the monitor from Digital input to VGA input. Try that and see.
