Its sounds like you need to adjust the cool anticipator in the T-Stat!It controls the reaction time by anticipating the temp and when to shut off or turn on! Very tricky on some T-Stat's!

Why did thermostat stop working?

First of all, remove the thermostat from the wall and determine whether batteries should be replaced. If fresh batteries are installed, you should be able to program it while it is detached. If this doesn't work, the thermostat may have failed and will have to be replaced.

Hi, I have a 1999 Volvo S80 2.4 auto. Recently the temperature gauge on the car either has not moved to the halfway mark (it only moves a couple of bars) and will stay there or it will, after a short

Typically a thermostat stuck open will cause the gauge not to move because the water/engine will not heat up. If you havent already, I Suggest you see if the local Advanced auto, dealer or someone who can read the engine temperature with an infrared thermostat so you can see if the problem is the guage/sending unit and also read the fault codes if you have check engine lights of any kind on your dash. With these codes I will be able to tell you exactly what needs to be fixed/replaced. Could be an ECU, sensor, relay, fuse, bad ground etc. My name is Tim, I work for a company called AutoEcu1 we see all kinds of different ecu ecm tcu tcu abs ebcm throttle body climate control etc etc etc from any given vehicle about 1986 up 2011 or newer. I am more then happy to help you resolve this quickly and correctly feel free to post here or call when you get the codes or if you have questions.
Regards,
-Tim

Amana Air Command 80 with fan mode is on, the furnace is running and blowing heat. Why the furnace did not do any thing when I set it on auto mode? Then I replaced a new thermostat, but nothing change

Try setting the temperature higher. It could be that the room temperature is not getting cold enough for the automatic controls to activate the heater.

Unit will not heat, change batteries controller cleaned filters etc. Still blowing COLD air

Check the thermostat setting...in the auto machines, with a reversing valve, there is no heating or cooling, generally, in the sensing temperature band of 19 Deg C to 22 Deg C and it only works on blower mode, re-circulating the room air. When the sensing temperature goes below 17 deg C, it works on heating and when the sensing temperature goes above 24 deg C, it works on cooling

Electric Kenmore Dryer 110.62622101 - Dryer will only work 'correctly' on timed dry. Auto dry will not time off and dryer gets super hot! Thermostats are replaced. I only use autodry - low heat. Using...

If timed drying is working the timer relay section is working fine but with the auto timer the thermostat must give the instructions to the timer unit to process and cut off accorrdingly. Since you have replaced the thermostat -- hope you made sure the thermostat was the same type- the fault is indicating to the timer unit by itself. The input of the thermocouple is faulty and is not reacting to the changes in temp to cutt off. You will need to replace the timer unit -- in fact many general use types of electronic temperature control units are available which can be used and can be coupled if the original unit is expensive. But try to check the thermostat input section. Good day

Unit will run if the thermostat is switch on ON, but if left on AUTO unit will hum and won't run.

For most Thermostats on and auto is for the fan switch function. There s usually another button for heat off cool. When you turn a\c or heat on , the fan switch should be on auto.

Temperature stopped working and won't work on auto. Like it doesn't detect the temperature to turn on in the auto function

Inaccurate current room temperature reading

It is not adjustable, sounds like the LED is going bad. Tstat has battery back up for power outages. If you slide the fan switch from auto to on does the blower motor start? If not control problem with unit.
