SOURCE: no power to WII....

eBay is the cheapest place to get most things, just make sure the replacement you purchase is GENUINE.

NEVER use aftermarket power supply's they can damage your system.

Best of luck!

My wii will not work the wires are plugged in but the light is not on it was working fine yesterday but it wont work now please help

Try your wii power supply in your friends' house. If your power supply didn't work on your friends wii, Buy new power supply. If it worked on your friend's wii then your wii is dead. Call Nintendo to take care of it. If you dont have a warranty, do it yourself. Take out the motherboard and google Wii FUSE. Chage the fuse. If you don't have the fuse, use soldering iron and join the palce you place the fuse together. If that didn't work again, Replace the wii motherboard. Trust me your wii will work this time and your MII you created will still be there because they are all on your harddrive not wii motherboard.

Rate if this helped you.

The power went out and now the wii wont turn back on?

HI. this is a power supply issue. Your unit is equipped with an external power supply unit. This box incorporates all the necessary AC current regulators, and transfer agents to run the Wii. There are ,also, some protection circuits as well. These are in place to protect the unit from surges are unstable AC spikes as well. There is a fuse that is located inside the power supply box. Simple unplug the power supply, and gain access to the fuse, by removing the outer cover of the power supply unit. there are a few screws,(on the bottom), that hold the top cover. remove the screws, and open the power supply unit. this will expose the fuse. Kindly, inspect the fuse. if it shows signs of trauma, and it is blown, simply replace the fuse.

Now, if the fuse shows no signs of trauma, or burn marks, this will confirm power supply circuit failure. This will require that you replace this damaged power supply unit asap.

Box went dead in the middle of a game. It won't power back up at all. Acts like there is no power to it at all but there is. Is it a bad opwer supply (in the power cord) or is the box itself shot

I had that happen to my kids unit I call the service number with the unit. The said I may have had a power spike. There is a breaker built into the power convertor. They had me unplug for 5 minutes and the will let the breaker reset.

Hello I seem to have a dead console. It wont power up

The first thing you should try is another power supply/power outlet. If this does not fix the problem, then there may be a loose cable inside the unit. Contact Nintendo and see if the unit is still under warranty.

No power not even the standby light why?

This is due to dead power supply. First of all check power cord and power supply at mains connecting to it. If mains is avaliable then you will have to replace its power supply
