Question about Kogi l7eh-ta ko 17" Flat Panel LCD Monitor

Kogi Monitor I have my monitor connected properly to my laptop. I don't get anything on the screen except a message 'no signal' and then it turns off. button shows yellow. do I need to press a particular key on my laptop to activate it or what? thanks for any help.

You need to enable the external display in your Operating System.

To change the screen resolution, click on Start - Control Panel - Display - Settings tab and the adjust the screen resolution slider to 1280X1024 click Apply.

My monitor gets no input signal, computer does


Try the montor on the external vga connection of the laptop. You can swap the signal from the laptop screen to the external monitor using the swap key (usually a FN key). You can do this whilst the laptop is up and running. If you see the display there, then you know the monitor is o.k. Then check the connection to the PC. If it is a card (PCI/AGP) make sure the card is properly seated. If you don't see display on either check the pins on the monitor plug if any are bent or missing. Sometimes these pins can be accidentaly pushed back into the plug housing. You can retrieve them with small long-nosed pliers.

see i use Compaq too
they don't generally except other modes

did u try that monitor with other pc where it worked

u should install proper monitor software ... u will found it from the cd given wit Ur monitor
