I had to re-install Windows XP. I cannot find the box so I do not have the product key. I have found different way to search for a product key but I need to go to the start menu. The problem is that I...

You can still logon to your Windows, and access everything you normally can.
A Windows XP that has failed Product Activation will lock its users out of the operating system. Windows will simply refuse to login, and will redirect users time and again to the activation option. But is there a way to still access your content via the operating system? Launching Windows in Safe Mode will permit access to the basic functionality of the operating system. But there is another way.

From the Login screen of an expired copy of Windows, click login. You will be prompted with an error message that will inform you of the expired status of your operating system and that will feature an option to activate the product. Clicking YES will make a ?Let's Activate Windows? window appear.

Now press the Windows Key + the U key to bring up the Narrator dialog box. The Narrator dialog box features a computer icon in the top left corner. Further clicking it will display a drop down menu. Navigate to the bottom option that reads ?About Narrator.? This action will open another box ?About Narrator?. No big surprise here; in fact, this is what we wanted all along.

In the ?About Narrator? windows you can see a link pointing to the Microsoft Website. Clicking the link will launch Internet Explorer. And there you go. As in Windows XP there is an intimate connection between Internet Explorer and Windows Explorer, via the browser window you can navigate on your drives. You just have to know the address, such as ?C:documents and settingsusernameStart MenuPrograms.? A big thanks goes to The Tomorrow Times for making details available.

This technique has been presented here for informative purposes only. Softpedia does not, in any way, support piracy. In fact, this article was written on an activated and genuine copy of Windows XP.

I don't want Palladium on my computer and I can't delete it

Manual Removal procedure for Palladium Pro The first step you must take in order to remove Palladium Pro is to stop one of the following processes below. Only one of them will be running.
  • Palladium.exe
  • PalladiumPro.exe
  • Palladiumantivirus.exe
  • Z.exe
To Stop this process you can browse to the file location shown below and re-name the file first and then restart your computer. Then browse to that file location again and delete the file.
The next step in Palladium Pro removal is to delete the following file:
Windows XP :
  • C:\Program Files\Palladium Pro\PalladiumPro.exe
  • C:\Documents and Settings\USER NAME\Application Data\Palladium.exe
  • C:\Documents and Settings\USER NAME\Application Data\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\Palladium Pro.lnk
  • C:\Documents and Settings\USER NAME\Application Data\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Palladium Pro\Palladium Pro.lnk
  • C:\Program Files\Startup\Palladium Pro.lnk
Windows Vista / Windows 7 :
  • C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\Palladium.exe
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Palladium Pro\PalladiumPro.exe
  • C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\Palladium Pro.lnk
  • C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Palladium Pro\Palladium Pro.lnk
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Startup\Palladium Pro.lnk
  • C:\%AppData%\Z.exe
Once you have successfully deleted these traces, Palladium Pro should no longer be running in your machine and now you should run a complete virus scan for the system using Spyware Doctor with Antivirus. This will let you know whether you have been able to remove all the traces of Palladium Pro successfully and also whether there is any other threat still available in the system.
If you need advanced help or an expert we recommend www.onlinecomputerrepair.org
Palladium Pro Registry Removal Procedures Now that your system is free from the Palladium Pro file traces that have been mentioned above, it is time to get rid of the infected registry items.
  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run "Palladium"
  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run "Palladium Pro"
  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run "Palladium Pro"
  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Palladium Pro
It is important that you run a complete virus scan for your computer when you are done with the removal procedure to ensure maximum protection for the system. For that, we suggest you to run the scan with Spyware Doctor with Antivirus.
Palladium Pro Directories: XP
  • C:\Program Files\Palladium Pro\
  • UPDATED: We have a report of it being at C:\Windows\Palladium Pro for some users.
Windows 7 / Windows Vista
  • C:\Program Files (x86) \Palladium Pro
Or mail me googolplexcorporation@gmail.com we will remove it through remote desktop support

I amsure of the model of the phone I want, but anything good enough from Nokia. Also A good sony laptop.

You will need to find someone who makes Laptops with keyboards with braille, don't know of any manufacturer's so I cant help you there, but I know Windows offers a program under Start Menu>Accessories>Accessibility called Narrator, although if you get XP, Microsoft Sam can get on your nerves, so you will have to get the Manual update to change the voice if it annoys you, Vista and Windows 7 have Anna, which is a way better voice. It will Narrrate to you everything on screen. Altough you will need to use the Keyboard to get around instead of the mouse.

How to disable start menu from desktop

tell me exactly what you want to use this for.
Is it for a internet cafe? I will then be able to give you the best solution.
Using group policy you can take out options within the start menu but cannot remove it totally.
If you want your computer to only start up internet explorer as soon as you turn the computer on, then you will need to play around with the system registry to do that, in order to disable explorer from lunching.
Go to Start/Run/Regedit and navigate to this key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

Download readystate from microsoft and play around with that, a very cool tool.
