Hi, I got BB 8700c and my little brother was playin with it and he some how lock the keyboard with code and now I could not ulock my phone because he don't remember what he typed.I still have 7 more tryes but I don't wanna risk can some1 help me how to reset the phone or with some solution how to remove this code???
Thanks in advance
With the Blackberry, there are 10 attempts by default. There is no master unlock code.
Check the instructions for your Blackberry to see the default unlock code from when it is new out of the box. Normaly, the factory default unlock code is 1234 If your mobile company, or someone else changed it, then you cannot unlock it yourself.
TIP: Never let anyone play with your mobile phone, unless they are supervised, or you can trust them to not make any changes.
The following is from the Blackberry service support:
If you do get locked out, to reset your password would require a low level reset, or "nuke", which is a fairly drastic procedure. A low level reset wipes out your BlackBerry's memory completely, including the operating system. To make it functional again, you would have to cradle the device and reinstall all the BlackBerry software.
