Question about T-Mobile MDA

Wifi is not working

The wifi on my phone is not working. It picks up signal but does not connect to any wifi's. I see avaliable in the list but when I connect, after 30 seconds or so, it says unavaliable. I know wifi is working because my laptop and other computer's are picking up wifi signals and I get wireless internet on there.

To post an update, I am getting wifi at the bookstore. So it seems like there is an incompatibility with zoom dsl modem and mda. Because wifi is working everywhere else expect home. At home wifi is working on all other devices except mda.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I cannot open internet in my computer using the internet connection in my mobile phone (nokia c-300)

Hello piscus567,
What you are having seems to a common issue with the Nokia C3. I had one and I had the same issue when I first got it. Unfortunately I had to keep trying several times before it connected. But when I finally got it to work, I use the same pattern when trying to connect. First off make sure you are trying to connect with wifi. At the home screen, click down and scroll through until you get WLAN and select it. Go to avaliable WLAN and find the network you want to connect to. Make sure the signal is strong. Once you click it, enter the password and it should say you are connected. Exit back out to the home screen. Go to menu and go to internet. Click on Home, and it usually it ask's search WLAN. So I go through the same process as mentioned earlier. Connect to your wifi network. Once connected try reloading again. Hopefully this should work. Unfortunately you will have to keep trying over and over if it does not work. It will work, you just got to be patient. Good luck.

Cannot connect to wireless networks, where is

First of all check these are ok: Check your network adapter settings to see if you have your wireless card enabled. If that is ok, see if you can pick up any other wifi access points apart from your own. If you can see others fine, this means your wifi card is working correctly. If you can see your own access point and not connect to it, check the signal strength, items like microwaves and cordless phones can interfere with the signal. If you have a good signal try connecting. If it is asking for a key/password, then you will need to find the authentication key for your wireless access point.
If you cannot see your wifi access point but can see others, then you may have SSID broadcasting disabled, or the wifi might not be functioning correctly. Check these in your access point settings.

Senao USB wifi 802.11

I am afraid that I have had to make an assumption as to the precise modle that you have but the following link should be correct, it gives you the option to download drivers for the
Senau NUB362 (Ext)

http://www.senao.com/English/Default.aspx?TYPE=test.htm&PT=searchDownload1&sf1=D331&sf2=NUB-362(EXT)&sf3=&tv_TCAT_POS=0&CATNO0=D&IDX=3.2&CNT=1&CATNO1=D3

numerous drivers for different operating systems seem to be avaliable.

if I have chosen the worng type a pull down list is avaliable showing the differnt Senao product drivers avaliable.

WIFI Connection Problem - connects only to EDGE

If you want to use wifi only when your at home you can go in and manually disable the cellular data so the internet will only be wifi based. Probably saving you MB's and data cost.

Go to Settings, General, Network, then simply turn off the Cellular Data. Then it won't connect anymore to the cell data and rely only on wifi when your connected to it.

And simple follow the same steps and revers the process when your out on the go.

Thanks
