Hi: Try uninstalling the printer driver first, then reinstalling without printer attached to computer, only reattached printer after you reinstall the drivers.

I cancelled a document while it was printing and it is still in my queue days later as deleting and it wont let me print anything else or restart that print job.

The best way to delete the print job is to turn the printer off, then disconnect the cable from the printer to the computer. Turn the printer on with the cables off, and go to your computer and delete the document, Then once it's deleted, turn the printer off again, and then hook the cable back up. Then turn the printer back on. That should do it.

Good Luck

It takes unduly long time to cancel a print-command on any printer, when we work on Windows. What is the surest way to kill a printing command.

Open "Printers and Faxes" from the Start Menu. Open the print queue for your printer by double-clicking on your printer's icon. There will be a list of all the current print jobs. There you can right-click on a job and select Cancel, Restart, etc. Cancel will remove it from the list.

If you are not on the computer that is connected to the printer, you might not have permission to change the queue. Then you should go to the computer that is actually connected, and use this procedure there.

Hp 1350v all-in-one printer won't print

if you have a print job stuck go in and hit cancel job. If it stays even after a few min right click "my computer" on your desktop and hit "manage" go to "services and applications" click "services" find the print spooler option and right click it and stop the service. Once stoped right click it again and start it. This should clear anything stuck in print queue trying to delete

Printing status frozen and won't delete or print

Have you tried unpluging your printer from the computer as well as unpluging the printer from the electrical? If that doesn't work you should start from scratch... that is remove the printer from the computer memory, delete it, turn off the computer, turn on the computer and go through the installation process as if you just purchased the printer. Barring any mechanical problems as in jams or the such, the printer should return to operational status.

Printer will not stop printing

Let the printer run out of paper. Then left click START, left click SETTINGS, left click PRINTERS AND FAXES. Right click on your printers icon to view the drop-down menu. Left click on OPEN to view the print queue. If any jobs are displayed, clear them by left clicking on PRINTER tab in the queue display. From the printer drop down menu, left click CANCEL ALL JOBS. This should solve the problem. If not, shut down , turn off, and unplug your computer and all periferral devices from the wall. and unplug the printer from the computer, Wait at least 30 seconds and reconnect all devices. Turn all devices back on and check operation.
