Your battery terminals inside the camera might be dirty. Clean them good with a qtip and isopropyl alcohol, and make sure they're clean. Otherwise, you have a more difficult problem and the unit will have to be troubleshot (and disassembled). Here is a web blog about dead cameras, and perhaps it will help you:
