OK! I found the code!!! But I must tell the story first. I gave up on my Signature 2000 for dead (rightfully so). Well, I just so happen to be inputting codes for a Zenith TV/VCR combo...and I had both TVs on. While inputting various codes for the Zenith...the Signature 2000 turned off! I couldn't believe it!!! all controls worked too!
Remote: "One for All: URC-3021BG1" TV: Signature 2000 Code: 0000 or 1479 (in my excitement I forgot which one)
I'm just in shock...and thought I should share.

Update: However, I couldn't repeat the process. But I swear it worked the first time! My mistake to try repeat the process. The Signature 2000 is a real piece of ****...I'm finished dealing with it!
BTW: Zenith tv/vcr code = 1479
