Unless the fault is looked into the possibilites are many. But your inspection with a good lighting to probe wil give the result .
Look for the point of leak during the cycle operation, could it come come the drain, the drain valve or the pump. Is it possible the drum has a leak or the gaskets are faulty. A good inspection with holding the fingers on the surface will the flow of water to confrim, wipe off and see the water coming out for a confirmation.
Together if there is no drain the possibility of the drain clogging can result in both the problems mentioned.
Remove the drain hose and check all the components of the drain exit , from and out of the drum.
Hope this tip helps,

Frigidarie Stackable Washer and Dryer leak

Check the Drain Tube, Check the Screen. When it gets to the FIRST Spin Cycle, Check the Water Level inside the Drum and see if it is Completely Draining... There is a Water Level Switch that should not be allowing it to Overflow so you may have an issue there... But first check for a Blockage

Ge_wdsr2080d5ww started leaking when I attempted to wash a load of laundry.

It is possible that the water has leaked due to overflow as the wate level had exceeded or there was leak from the seal. In all occasions it isimportant that your observation is most important and so is vital to theidentification /rectification and solution. If you have noticed that water hasleaked then as the drain hose pump/valve and fittings are located on theunderside of the machine it is important that you look for possible leaks here.In some cases the drain hose would be clogged at the drain end to outlet of thehouse and so there will be back flushing resulting in overflow to the outside. Also the drain pump/valve can be clogged or the drain hose clamps can be looseon the grip which can all cause the leak to occur. Removing and cleaning thedrain pump/valve, tightening of the hose is also very important. Also water canleak if there are gaps on the front door gaskets and must be checked but thiswill happen only during the cycle and not on the drain cycle end.Tips for leak: http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/washing-machines/a/7/1461/do-you-have-a-leaky-washing-machine.html Check for tips on the link below to identify parts andremoval:http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/washing-machines/a/7

Water leaking from my Maytag Neptune model FAV6800AWW Serial number 15646382GA Leaks during wash cycle imediately and during complete cycle. Enough water to saturate 2-3 towels and clothes come out...

Could be a Tub Seal leak my 1st choice. Could also be a leak caused by a cracked outer tub, issues from the hoses from the drain line connections to the drain pump, drain pump and or drain line.

Are you going to try to DIY the fix?

Water leaks during drain cycle and the machine

Hi

If the water leaks during drain and spin only: A washer that leaks only during the drain/spin cycle often has a leak in the main drain hose. Inspect the entire hose and correct any problem you find. Alternatively, the steel or plastic outer tubs can rust, split, or be punctured. This may be most visible during large loads and high water levels. If this happens, you may have to replace the entire outer tub--but that may not be an economical repair to make. Consult a qualified appliance repair technician for further details.

Please do rate this solution as "FixYa" if found useful.
