Question about Televison & Video
If Philips, Magnavox the board did not need to come out--only one Hitachi uses the 120 chips.
What happens here is sometimes a tech will only replace one of the chips--stupid but it happens a lot.
Supplier on EBAY: select advanced search, then search by seller---
sewsales55 is the one I use--Company is called Suburban Electronics in Maryland and they also have a online catalog--EBAY prices are a bit lower.
Good quality and fast shipper (usual shipping 3-4 dollars) and a pair of the chips go for under 14 dollars.
Considering here where I live the parts places get 22 each for them.....
Be sure you are careful unsoldering them and use fresh heat grease on the new ones when you put them in. I can if you get that far tell you how to get into tech menu (let me know brand etc) and adjust and save the adjustments.
If this told you something you did not know rate this solution as very helpful as I do this here for free.
