Question about Bosch Axxis WTA 3510 Electric Dryer

1 Answer

My Bosch electric dryer wta3510uc heats but doesnt get hot like other dryers. why is that? it takes over an hour to dry or even more and it use to seem much hotter. clothes are still cool and damp after 40 minutes in the dryer but when it is all dry it is warm. Is part of the heating element broken? because it use to be cold only until i reset the thermostat on the heating element. But it is still not hot as i would like it to be. Also when on auto dry it gets cold after the damp dry light turns on. Is my heater element the cause of all this?

Hi. My LG Tromm Dryer DLG3788 warms at times, heats hot others and sometimes won't heat at all. Either way the clothes either don't dry at all or take hours. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Bosch axxis wtl 5410 dryer takes too long to dry.

You should have a cycling thermostat. this is most likely bad or your dryer vent may be clogged. Something is cutting the heat off before it gets hot enough. Both these cause this problem.

i would check the actual electrical connections, to both the unit, and the downline connections to that actual element itself, its unusual for an elemnt to only go a lilttle bit... it works or it doesn't...
since you seemed to be very knowlegable, ohm
out the element as well as your plug and outlet
ther emay be a loose connection somewhere

Maytag MDE8600AYW takes way too long drying clthes

either your house vent is plugged, or the vent in the dryer by the blower is plugged. when the vent is plugged, even partially, the moisture is not leaving the dryer. It will take a long time to dry, and the top of the dryer will get hot when the vent is plugged. Clean the house vent and check down below the lint trap by the blower, then it will dry fine again.
