Password setting not going

the address your are typeing is possibly wrong

hold down the windows key and press r.
in the run menu type in CMD

now in the shell windows type in ipconfig

ipconfig will show something like this
IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.11.2
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.11.1

note the default gateway address that is the address you need to connect to

in my case its http://192.168.11.1 check yours

You need to give the correct IP address to connect to your router through your web browser. 192.168.0.50 is most likely your Vista PC's IP address, not the D-Link router.

To find out what IP address to type into the web browser please do the following:

1) Press the "Windows" key + "R" on the keyboard, at the same time.
2) Type "cmd" without quotes in the run box and click "ok"
3) Type "ipconfig" without quotes.

Notice it says Default Gateway followed by an IP address, this is your router's IP.
