Sounds like a dead battery to me. To make certain, use a volt meter and connect it across your battery, red lead to positive, black lead to negative. Press the starter button, if he voltage drops below 10 volts, your battery is kaput.

Or, if you don't have a volt meter, take the battery to an automotive parts store and ask them to load test it for you. They'll usually do this at no charge.

Good Luck

2001 Moto Guzzi California EV won't even try to start.

pushing the start button dims the lights is a sure indication that the battery is faulty
have it load tested or replace it
charging a dead battery after a 2 year period of being flat causes what is known as sulphation of the plates and the battery will not accept a charge regardless of the charge time.

Push start button and get a buzzing kind of sound.tail light is also dim

I could have sworn I answered this question the other day. It sounds like you have a bad battery. Remove the battery and take it to an automotive parts store. Ask them if they would load test the battery for you. Usually when a battery has good connections and does this, it's either badly discharged or a cell is shorting internally resulting in a battery of less than 12 volts. Depending on which cell shorts, the battery voltage could drop as low as six volts.

If the battery checks good, make sure all your connections are good at the battery and starter. Look under the "electrical panel cover" just to the rear of the coil cover and find the starter relay. Turn the ignition switch on and press the start button while holding this relay. It should click once whenever you press the button.

If it does this, look at the end of the starter from the right side of the bike. The end plate of the solenoid is shaped like a pentagon. At the top of this plate, there is a single wire connection. Unplug this wire and connect the red lead of a Digital Volt Ohm meter to the wire. Ground the black lead of the meter and put the meter's function switch in the DC volts, 20 volt range. Turn on the ignition switch and press the start button. You should read battery voltage. If so, your starter is bad.

Good luck

My intertherm outside unit is clicking and I can hear a buzzer every so often. When the buzzer goes off the inside lights dim for a second. Model T5BD-048K and serial # T5A060500118. Product p3ra-048k is...

Sounds like the compressor is trying to start but is not. The lights are dimming as the unit is overamping. The buzzing noise is the motor trying to start and failing. The click is the unit going out on it 's safety device, unually an internal overload.
Hope this helps.

Dryer work turn on, buzzes when start is pushed

It may be just your timer switch. Look at all the wiring first. The receptacle to the plug, cord and into the back of the dryer.
