Question about Sharp Office Equipment & Supplies

Open Question

I have an older sharp desk calculaor Compet VX-1612. Love the thing, but the other day it just stopped. I thought maybe the cord, but just nothing? Any clue besides being old? Better to purchase new versus repair cost?

With this type of calculator, you have it right to display 2 decimals. As far as for is to dislay 5.10, you will need to actually hit the decimal point where you want it in order to display it that way.

My sharp compet qs-2770h calculator will not let me type in numbers. There is no reset button but there is sequence of keys to press. I cannot remember them. Does anyone???

In some rare occasions, all keys - including the power
key and the key - cease to respond.
If such abnormal conditions are observed, unplug the AC cord from the socket. Keep the unit unplugged for about 5 seconds, reconnect the AC plug, then turn on the power
