Question about Zebra LP 2844 Thermal Printer
Hey there, I am having problems with my Zebra LP 2844 and was wondering if you can help. Thank you.
If the printer is printing nothing but blanks, try another roll of labels.
If the printer is printing blanks in between labels, it probably needs to be gap sensed. You can do this by:
1. turn the printer off.
2. hold the feed button down and then power the printer back on while still holding the feed button down.
3. release the feed button when the light flashes.
4. the printer will then regap itself
5. when the regapping is done, press the feed button once. It will print on the label that it is 'out of dump'
6. the printer should then be ready to go.

In addition to jigeo solution you need to know this, the little taken- sense button must be in the off position before this procedure works. You can then return it to the on position.
