Question about Encore USB AudioVideo Grabber ENMVG USB 20 Interface

Open Question

My OS is Windows 7 and I've just purchased the Encore ENMVG then downloaded & installed what appears to be the current, and only, driver and Utility software available from their website. Whenever I click to open the utility program, either from the desktop's or Start Menu's icon, an error message appears that reads: "Fail To Initialize Hardware." I've spoken to Encore's Tech Support and they advised to uninstall the driver & utility and insert the ENMVG into a different USB port, then reinstall the driver & utility. I still received the same error message. For some reason, tech support then advised to do a system backup and then a system restore. I did both and reinstalled everything, only to have the same error message pop up. To test and make sure that the device itself may be defective, I installed it into another PC running Windows XP. Everything worked fine! I wish I could just use the device on the XP PC, but it isn't mine. Please advise as to what I can do to make the ENMVG work on my Windows 7 system. Encore's tech support said that there's no reason why it shouldn't. I really appreciate your time. Thank you very much. Tedd Laury

SOURCE: Failure To Initialize Hardware

OK I think your problem may be that you need to install/reinstall the drivers.
Does it show up in Device Manager? If so, Uninstall it, reboot and then reinstall the drivers when, if? XP detects it and asks for drivers.
Hopefully this will sort it. If not, then maybe ya card is faulty.

Toshiba nb505 atom bluetooth driver

1) Go to the following link:
2) go down and select your operating system3) click where it says "all categories" and select blue tooth.
4) two download links will appear. Download and install the second one first (driver package). Then if you have windows 7, download and install the first one (blue tooth stack) but only if you have windows 7. no need to install "BLUETOOTH STACK" if you have windows xp.

i hope i was helpful.

4.Click "camera", then choose and click chicony folder

How to download free download hp officejet 4255 all in one drivers for windows7 32bit

Hi Welcome to Fixya!
The driver that you are going to download is free! However, you will not be able to download a direct driver for Windows 7. But dont worry, just kindly follow these steps:
1)Just copy and paste this link to your browser:
2)next, in the option to select your Operating System from the drop down box, select first Windows Vista.
3)download and install the Full Product installation software (it will let you install the driver for Windows Vista in Windows 7.. the trick is on the next step)
4)Once the software is already installed, access again the same link for the drivers. Then instead of choosing Windows Vista for the OS Type, select Windows 7 32bit.
5)Click on the Update link, then download the HP Print Software Patch When upgrading from vista to Win7
6)after downloading, install the file and restart the computer
7)Once you get back to Windows, you should be able to have your printer working
Hope this would help!

Hi ravneet_gemi,

Welcome to FixYa! How are you doing?

You did not specify the Operating System of your Dell Vostro 1014, whether Windows XP, Vista, or Windows 7.

If the link does not work, copy and paste it on the address bar of your Internet Explorer.

Installation Instructions:

1.Click Download Now, to download the file.
2.When the File Download window appears, click Save (Windows XP
users will click Save) this program to disk and click OK. The Save In:
window appears.
3.From the Save In: field, click the down arrow then click to
select Desktop and click Save. The file will download to your desktop.
4.If the Download Complete window appears, click Close. The file
icon appears on your desktop.

1.Double-click the new icon on the desktop labeled R231570.exe.
2.The Self-Extracting window appears and prompts you to extract or
unzip to C:\DELL\DRIVERS\R231570. Write down this path so the executable (I.e.
Setup.exe) file can be found later.
3.The Self-Extractor window appears.
4.Click OK.
5.After completing the file extraction, if the Self-Extractor
window is still open, close it.
6.Click the Start button and then click Run.
7.Type C:\DELL\DRIVERS\R231570 in the Open textbox and then click OK.
8.Follow the on-screen installation instructions.

Hope that helps. Thank you for using FixYa.
